This dual tone, contemporary kilim rug is handcrafted by our artisans in Bharat (India). Traditionally handloomed, its inspiration comes from the the bazaars of the ancient Silk Road city of Samarkand. Its abstract design and deep indigo colour with a cream base brings adds a bit of sophistication to any home and décor. The high wool content allows vibrancy and depth of colour, also allowing greater detail to be incorporated into the design.
